Sacred work that honors and elevates thee beloved departing ones • This is NOT an assistant service that will only take care of the physical needs of the dying person • This is NOT hospice or palliative care • This is NOT comfort care or simply companionship >> This is profound, core work to help the departing to stay true to their innermost authentic desires Rituals to cleanse what is past, envision what is present and embody what is future Offerings can include: • Advanced planning of the final days of the departing person (for example, are they be cremated, or buried, or something else? Would they want chants or silence, or prayers would they like by their side and who they wouldn't.). Is there going to be a do not resuscitate order? Which meds are they willing to take or not? And much more. These can tough conversations to have, and the family is already burdened with the emotional charge of the moment. The Daoist Doula present can help alleviate the suffering for all, and streamline the journey for the departing person with more ease. Daoist mainly mean that it is done according to Nature, with only natural elements (plants, essential oils, and others) and practices. There is no forceful intervention. Andréa Soares and alias Flor de Channelle are trained with the best of the field, Dr. Randine Lewis, to provide this service with as the utmost sacred and humbling experiences one can be part of. I've also volunteered at NY Hospice for over two years. In addition, I went through the most gut-wrenching experience of having to be in that role for my father. You do not come out the other way the same. This service is booked as needed. My physical presence is a must, and we can discuss a plan to mix in-person visits with online talks.
