Casa da Mãe Joana: the best Brazilian-stye family reunion, where one arrives when they want, leaves when they want, eats what they want, plays with whom they want, and spreads love in the most minute acts of being together. My paternal great-grandmother was called Joana. we had an actual Casa da (Vó, Mãe, Tia, etc.) Joana. She was a slim, diminutive woman with a commanding presence. She reached 98 years old. She inspired respect and showered wisdom and love.
The story of my entire family is bursting with examples of strong and loving characters that knew when to discipline and, at the same time, clearly showed you they were always your anchor. I chose June 12th to have an intimate birth day launch of EntryPoint, a baby of mine, which is to say a baby of my entire family, on whose shoulders I deferentially and honorably stand up on today. The date is considered a celebration of Love in Brazil (albeit a commercially-oriented one), much like Valentine's Day in the US. I thank those family members who were able to join our private Casa da Mãe Joana-style Zoom call. I also thank you those that couldn't join, as you are building the next steps of our brilliant family with the sweat of your labor elsewhere. In addition, I raise my heart to heavens, to those that have always been present and do not need a material interface to be able to lift me up and cheer me on. It is with a heart filled entirely with LOVE that I present to the world: EntryPoint - Mean to be Healthy. Come have fun with me in this journey!
Sincerely,
Andréa
